Huawei SUN2000 Series Inverters

Not all communication interfaces may be present on all inverters. Check this on your inverter.

Update 2025: As far as known all Huawei SUN2000 inverters with communication possibilities are supported.

note

If you connect your energy meter to Huawei inverter, the controller will be able to read the grid data.

warning

We recommend doing a factory reset of the Huawei inverter before adding it to the SmartgridOne Controller. This ensures a clean initial connection and can prevent connection issues.

warning

If no Modbus-TCP option is present, the inverter must be updated.

  1. The connection with the Huawei will only activate when the starting address for automatic address allocation has changed. To do this, go to the menu Dongle parameter settings and change the starting address for automatic address allocation to another value. This isn't the modbus address the controller will communicate with, only a starting value.
